microsoft user data storage

Is there any way to change where microsoft user data gets stored? Right now it shows up in my documents but I want it to be saved into a different folder. How can I change this?

Try this ...

01. Place the 'Microsoft User Data' folder where you want it (within the limitations of MacOS x'es restrictions).
02. Create an alias, of the relocated 'Microsoft User Data' folder, and place it where the 'Microsoft User Data' folder was originally located (the ' ~/Documents/' folder) - with the name of 'Microsoft User Data'.

Good idea, but I like to keep my documents folder clean. Is there any way to do it without keeping anything in the my documents folder?
