| Hi all, im rapidly loosing hope... ![]() I logged into my Mac G5 10.3.9 and suddenly found that its seemed have restored everything to 'factory defualt settings'. In the rush of things the night before I recalled seeing a message appearing say something about my 'Keychains' ( which I foolisly ignored or selected the wrong option!!) I have tried: Opening the Key Chains utility > Window > Keychain First Aid I noticed that there is an option to 'Restore to factory default, and there is a note to say that the old one will be moved aside and not deleted... im wondering that perhaps in my rash button clicking I have selected an option to 'restore' would apprecaite if anyone knows what ive done!!??? and wheter there is any hope of me getting my address book /emails back? and the worst thing is im a silly bugger that hasnt done any backups! appreaciate any help or any comments either way I just want to know so that I can bite it! Moratio!! |

| This usually happens when your User folder gets renamed, either on purpose or accidentally. How many folders are there in your Users folder? How many accounts are there supposed to be on your Mac?
