| I have noticed that printing duplex pages causes problems, when I try to print a software manual for example under the "Preview" application under MacOS X. I am using the booklet function in order to have my manual printed. The first and the last page of my document are always printed on one paper sheet which is not correct! If I print the same document in Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.1 the duplex booklet printing function works properly. The cover and the last page of my document are prtinted on seperate paper sheets. Besides, I have noticed that printing specified pages (print from page X to page Y) is not working properly either. I have tried to print the cover and the last page of my document seperatly under the "Preview" application of MacOS X. The application always prints the next page of my document but not the page I have specified in my printing dialog. Check and recheck your software before release dear MacOS X developer team! As mentioned in a previous posting. The print results I get under the "Preview" application of my PDF-document looks pretty ugly. The typography on my printed pages are suffering from bad letter spacing, bad hints and bad font substitution. sincerely yours, |
