Convert is on a distinguished road
All my internet browsers are dying.

Hey,

I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.5. This problem has been present since 10.4.3

Basically, Safari will load the homepage, and then freeze with the spinning beachball, etc, and then close. I've trashed plists, etc, not done a thing.

Same goes for Shiira, Camino, Firefox, Ominweb, Internet Explorer (oh noes!), and pretty much any other browser, except Opera. But I expect that it will fall ill to this problem.

It doesn't really happen anywhere else, just on the internet browsers.

It actually doesn't. The second user account was present when the problem occurred on my account, so I made a new one and tried that... all three have problems with all the browsers (except Opera).

I would try clearing all the Caches for the entire system. Use Yasu, Onyx, Cocktail, etc.
