Safari / Flash MIME

I have a new iMac/Intel computer. When I surf around, I can not fully see sites that require a Flash Plug in. I keeps asking me to download it from Macromedia. I do that but it does not help. I can have safari start up in Rosetta mode to solve this problem but then there are other sites I can not go to when I do that and proformance lacks severily. Am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks,
Shain

Nope, that's the workaround -- force Safari to run in Rosetta emulation.

The reason is that the Macromedia Flash plug-ins are not Universal Binaries, meaning they only run on PowerPC-based Macintosh computers. When Safari is run natively on the Intel processor, these plug-ins cannot load. Forcing Safari to run under Rosetta emulation is the only workaround until Macromedia releases Universal Binary versions of their plug-ins.

This may help get back the Intel-native Flash plug-in:
