itunes 6.0.4 crashes upon opening

[Selah1]

I upgraded itunes to 6.0.4 and now it does not open at all. I tried trashing
preferences and that didn't work. Tried to install the original with Panther and keep getting errors. Then verified disk with the utility and An error came up. "Keys out of order" Then it would let me repair. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. I am a composer for video games, film, and TV. It is essential I have itunes as it is link with Logic. Thanks in advance.
