| Introduction Hi, I was exploring help options for MAC OS X and found this site. I switched from Windows to MAC about a year and a half ago. I now have an I MAC and both of my daughters have I-books. One of my daughters took her I-Book to a Genius Bar because the internal speakers were not wotking. The Genius Bar person recommmeneded reinstalling the OS using archive and intstall. The computer was running OS X 10.3.9. Using the disks I had, I could only reinstall OS X 10.2.4. This version turned out to be incompatiple with my airport software. When I attempt to reinstall the airport software, I get a message saying that my airport software is up to date. I cannot connect to the internet to upgrade my OS software. What should I do? Thanks for any help. jbbiker Last edited by jbbiker; March 15th, 2006 at 04:02 PM. |

| 'I am not sure which files to copy from the iMac to upgrade the iBook.' - 'I cannot connect to the internet to upgrade my OS software. What should I do?' Prior to performing the above 01. through 03. steps, download the appropriate 'OS software' - via the iMac. |
