| Type 1 Font files with mac? I have downloaded what I believe is a type 1 font file, but am not able to install it on my mac. I have transfered those files to another windows PC and they work fine, so I am fairly certain that the files are valid. I have 4 files, ending in *.afm, *.inf, *.pfb, *.pfm. It is my understanding that OS X has the ability to handle these files, yet when I use Font Book it will not let me select any of those files to add. It sees them, but I cannot select any. Any suggestions? |

| ... I believe I had to use these same file types a while ago at work. I ended up using some free/shareware Windows utility to convert it to a Mac-compatible Truetype font (granted, the Mac can use "Type 1" fonts, but the structure of the files is different)... when I get back to work, I'll get to the Windows machine and tell you what program I used to convert it to TrueType....
