Talking Got a 16/8/8/24 CD-Combo for free!

Today I got my ibook (2002) from the apple service. I had problems with the hinge of the lcd. It stucked...
well, beside that, my 8/4/4/24 CD-Combo-cover was a bit shifted, so that it stucked SOMETIMES, when I wanted to release the drive... nothing fancy, but I just told them about it.
And today?
hinge is working smooth, cover got polished (looks like new!!!!!) and I got a new CD-drive:
16/8/8/24
I can copy files from DVD at 16 and burn and reburn at 8x!
I love APPLE!
So, maybe they don't have those old Combo-drives anymore!?

Wow, it's funny that you mention that, because I think there's a problem with the door mechanism on my Quicksilver G4 .. the combo drive just doesn't open quite right. Maybe I'll tell Apple
