| How do I increase iChat prompt volume? Running 10.3.9 on a tiBook. With system audio control at maximum, iChat audio is at acceptable level, but we can barely hear the prompts indicating messages received. We're using video chat to see our new granddaughter, and we don't want to miss the connections. Any suggestions? Terry |

| Under the alert tab in iChat preferences, go to alerts, and their is a slider for the audio sound. In fact, you customize alerts specific to certain people. On your buddy list, highlight their name and right click, and select "get info." This will open a window. On the top of that window it has SHOW:Actions. Here you can set specific alerts. For example, when your granddaughter signs on, you can get a audio alert. |
