| Screen redraw problems in iCal I am now having screen redraw problems in iCal after installing the 5.1 MissingSync update. It seems to be related to hiding and showing the to do panel in iCal, or drawing the search results list. 1) If the To Do panel is open, there is nothing in it. 2) if I start with the To Do's not showing and ask that the panel be shown, the calendar bit adjusts, but the window where the To Do's should be is not drawn - the previously drawn calendar items are still there. Same with the search results panel. Missing Sync. 5.1 is the last thing I installed. I have this question on their mailing list with no reponse, but with some people posting similar 'loss of ToDo's' problems. I wonder if anyone else has this problem. It could be some kind of system corruption otherwise, but only iCal seems affected. I deleted the iCal plist files I could find, logged out and logged in again. |

Users/YourName/Library/Application Support/iCal/Sources contains all the calendars in folders numbered, for instance: 5ABD4995-BFEB-49C3-86A4-6367294A7F68.calendar One of these is corrupt. Trash it. I suspected a calendar which I used frequently. Into the trash and restart iCal, and everything works fine. |
