| HP 940c Spitting Blank Pages
Hello. Tiger 10.4.5, Deskjet 940c, MacBook Pro, 2ghz, 2gb ram. Printer spits out blank pages in any application, works fine on PC XP box. I've searched, but found references not related to this printer (tried some suggestions, no avail). HP site says driver for printer is preinstalled, to delete, then add again a print queue, but still does not work. Haven't yet tested on a different printer. Have played with various page setups, Mac sees the printer straight out, but nada print. Anyone have this dilemma? My client is a new Mac user, our first snafu on the book. Thanks for ideas! Me thinks I should go get recent drivers from HP anyways and install, but Tiger update on HP site says no. Thoughts & thanks? ttfn, Taz |
