Incorrect icons and file types in 10.4 Finder

Hello!
I am on a freshly installed 10.4 system. I made the mistake of having an old Classic program called HexEdit hanging around on my hard drive. The Finder seems to think all my .php, .pl, .html and other files "belong" to HexEdit. I have since deleted HexEdit but the Finder still wants to open my files using HexEdit, instead of Dreamweaver / Safari as it should.
I have tried rebuilding permissions, which didn't solve this issue.
I have also tried running Cocktail.app's "Rebuild Launch Services database" which also did not reslolve this issue. (This was just a guess anyway).
Any advice would be helpful to get HexEdit out of my Finder's mind, thanks!

Do a "Get Info" on any .php, .html, or .pl file (you'll have to repeat this for each of those file types), then select Dreamweaver (or whatever) from the "Open With" menu, and click "Change All..."
