Exclamation Quicktime Experts - please help!!

I am running OSX 10.4.4 with Quicktime 7.0.4 and trying to play an avi file i have on DVD.. but a quicktime dialogue box appears telling me i require additional software..and a link takes me to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resou...omponents.html but i have no idea which plugin to download..

can anyone help??

This question has been asked and answered on this forum too many times to count. Download and install the DivX 6 codec.
