alphabetizing

Hello

Is there an ap out there that will alphabetize items typed into a text doc? I see reference to a devons freeware and that they have an ap for that but i cant seem to get there. Thank You in advance for any help given.

If you're familiar with the Terminal (UNIX command line), then you can simply do:

sort [filename] > [sortedfilename]

Oh, does "alphabetize" mean "sort"?

BBedit has a sort function.

You can't access http://www.devon-technologies.com/download/index.html ?

It's the WordService download you need, it puts a Format menu item into the services menu of TextEdit and other Cocoa applications. It works just fine.
