Cropping MP3's

Quick question, is their any software out their that allows you to crop MP3's, also is it legal?

Yes it legal as long as you dont disturbute it. Its called Fair Use. I suggest looking at Audacity its free http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

It's for my mobile phone, it's so I can have the chorus or snippits of a song rather than it all.

There is a program called Audio Hijack that will do what you want.

I have used it to create ringtones for my phone.
