| Illustrator CS quits when saving -- using wrong button! Hi everyone. I'm running Tiger 10.4.7 with latest upgrades and Adobe CS suite with latest Version Cue updates installed. From last summer first install on, my Illustrator quits suddendly, if i do Save or Save As pressing "selector bar" just below the proposed name of document. If i use shortcuts in dialog's left side, everything works fine. The problem affects Illustrator only, but then every Illustrator in our office. Hardware is G5 throughout. Illustrator problem or System cache problem? |

| I don't really know what you mean by pressing a "selector bar"...? AFAIK there are two general ways to save a document. Either go to Save/Save As through the menu, or by hitting Cmd-S/Cmd-Shift-S. But I guess you're talking about when there's already a save/save as dialogue window open? When exactly does it quit?

| "I don't really know what you mean by pressing a "selector bar"...?" Ah. That "quick navigation bar" over the Finder window(s), which shows where you currently are, in Folder hierarchy. To the right of it is "Find"-field with magnifier icon. Sorry my name usage -- i'm running finnish system. |
