| stuffit help! i have a macbook and several .zip.001, .002, .003 etc files. each time i try to extract the image as a whole i get an error such as 17999 Unspecified Stuffit engine internal error all help is greatly appreciated  |

| As per SmithMicro '17999' is a 'Bug in the StuffIt Engine'. Solutions: Install an earlier version of whatever StuffIt application (StuffIt Deluxe or StuffIt Expander) that you are currently using. For example, if using version 10.0.1 try (obtaining and) installing version 10.0, if not version 9.x. |
