iChat - Lost Connection with Host

iChat - Lost Connection with Host

I have a new mac book pro and my iChat was working at the start and now it is not. I have installed mysql and that is the only thing I can think that may have changed it's settings.

Looking in forums I found a very temporary solution (worked once, this morning). System Preferences > File Sharing > Firewall > Checkbox > iChat.

I have a wireless Netgear router.

Suggestions?
