| Hi all, It's Hong Kong Benny, who is the new forum visitor, also new Mac user. I have a problem while using my Logitech QuickCam Messenger. While I tried to plug the USB webcam into my PowerBook G4 (OSX), it work properly for Yahoo Messenger(latest) but not for iChat(v3.x). I have already search for many posts and got many information about how to video conference between PC and Mac, like macam, iChatUSBCam, etc. After I install macam, it can detect my quickcam and work properly(view, capture). Also, I tried to follow it's intruction to paste the driver into /Library/QuickTime but still not work. Also, i tried the software iChatUSBCam, it successfully installed into my MacOSX and worked like a plug-in into my iChat, but still not work or detect my webcam. So, I would like to ask for any advise/suggest? Should I buy a new webcam? Or wait for skype's next generation which embed video conference. Thanks. |
