apps not starting

I don't know what is wrong. I can't get Excel, Ultimate Pen, Serial Keeper, Pastor to start from the Dock. Also Tiny Alarm doesn't appear in the MenuBar. Graphic Converter and Google earth both start from the Dock. Any help would be welcome. I have an Intel iMac (10.4.70 with the latest security update. I ran fsck and logged back in.Here is the last log I saw:

try remove all cache files (see also http://www.macfixitforums.com/showfl...5&o=31&fpart=1)

In my case I had to delete all system cache files within /Library/Caches.

Move the 'MagicMenuEnabler' to the Desktop and restart.

It's located here;

/Library/InputManagers

If things are normal, trash that file.
