| mac os x tiger on my compaq I have purchased mac os x tiger ,but i am confused wil it work on my compaq notebook with 1.86 ghs core solo processor .Please help me. |

| Hi Sam, The retail box version of Mac OS X 10.4 aka Tiger is for PPC-processors only. Thus the retail box version will install only on Macs with a G3, G4, or G5 processor, not intel processors.

| Furthermore, it is illegal to install MacOS X on non-Apple hardware. As such, it violates the rules of this forum to discuss such actions. |
