| Hi, i just got a DVD drive, so when macos X was installing it didnt install the DVD player, as there was no DVD drive present at the time. So can someone please tell me where i can find the DVD player software on the macos X CDs. thanks |

| I would sugest that you judt download it from apple because i don't think that the latest version is on the CD... |

| Thank for the help Jet. i found a good article from xlr8yourmac.com ( http://forums.xlr8yourmac.com/action...=33876&-search ) it sais "Run Pacifist and open Mac OS X Install Disc 1/System/Installation/Packages/Essentials.pkg. Expand the Package Contens and Click on DVD Player.app. Click on Install to install it. That's pretty much it. " The web site for Pacifist is http://www.charlessoft.com/. |
