| retrospect client 'not supported on this architecture' iMac running 10.4.7 We're having an issue where Retrospect incorrectly reports this machine hasn't been backed up. First thing I noticed is that the Retrospect Client application (v6.1.107) runs fine under the main login, but using a secondary login it gives the error "You cannot open Retrospect Client because it is not supported on this architecture" Tried repairing permissions, and making the secondary login an administrator. Neither had any effect. What can I try next? |

| I'm having the same exact problem, only on a g4 cube with 10.4.3. In fact the first time I installed the software, it didn't ask me for a password for the server to use, so I uninstalled and reinstalled to get that to work. I needed the client to work in my personal account, so I tried making that account an adminstrator and uninstalling/reinstalling using it, but it still only lets me open it in the other administrator account. These quirks don't bode well for a piece of software that's supposed to help me be secure in my data. |
