Unhappy iTunes :(

Okay I just got a brand new Mac Mini that's not even a month old yet.. Everything was working fine until I downloaded this program called "PodTube" Where you can download YouTube Videos and put them on your iPod. After I downloaded this (and realized it didn't work) I deleted it and I tried opening up iTunes and it won't work. iTunes will open.. but the mouse turns into the little spinny thing and iTunes wont let me do anything. I've tried everything to get iTunes to work.

I seriously need help.

Try resetting the iTunes preferences - go to:
/Users/[your_account]/Library/Preferences/
and delete
com.apple.iTunes.plist

Note: you can use Spotlight to search the contents of the preferences folder for the iTunes pref. file. Just search in the finder search, and press the tab Folder "Preferences"

I was about to install this program called PodTube, has anyone else had problems with this software? Does it really work?

It's Universal, so it'll work on your mac. However, if it's causing iTunes to go haywire.. might want to think twice.

I've tried deleting the folder. Nothing happens. Is there anything else I can do?

Also, delete the iTuneshelper.plist

Go to Music -> iTunes

Then, move the iTunes Music Library.xml file to the desktop.

Check if iTunes has changed at all.
