ichat plug-ins

i was wondering if anyone knows of any ichat plugs that would pop up kinda like the windows the version of AIM, in which a small window pops up showing status changes to buddies on your buddy list.

i'm sick of the ichat logo just bouncing around, and when i click on it, i have no clue what happened.

thanks

I am not sure what you are actually asking, because I don't know the Window version. There are add-ons to iChat.

Thsi is a plugin to use the growl notification system to let you knwo of such things http://growlichat.com/download.php (i think you also need to get growl from http://growl.info/)

ALternatively, if you don't use voice/video chat, i recommend adium, it runs almost every chat network, is free and stupidly customizable, plus is has inbuilt growl support.

[edit]
Reading further down on the iChax page i see it also includes the growl notification.

ars123, use adium from www.adiumx.com, google even provide instructions on how to set this up at http://www.google.com/support/talk/b...y?answer=24075
Adium also runs most other chat networks, as i said above.
