| iChat crashes on one-way video, why? Good news: I have a brand new MacBook Pro with the spiffy in-built camera. Bad News: whenever I try to set up a one-way video chat with my camera-less peers, iChat crashes. Specifically, iChat crashes when the other party accepts the chat. I know this, because one person I have tried this with is sitting in my room. We tried using both Bonjour and internet. I have disabled my router's firewall and even opened some ports in OS X's firewall, as adviced by Apple. No luck. I got the same result when invited another person to a one-way video chat, and this person is outside of my house. Both people are using PowerBooks with the latest Tiger updates. Any advice? |
