iCal and Sync Instruction or Help?

Hi:

We have three Macs in four different locations, one 12 inch laptop and three G5s. We need to set them up so that they share calendars using iCal. We are having huge headaches doing this, details of which I won't go into now. What I am looking for is a good "Idiots Guide to iCal" or something similar. I've checked the Apple iCal Web pages and they are worthless, as it the "help" feature in iCal itself.

We also want to be able to use .mac to share files between various locations and we can't get the sync'ing to work. Any ideas about good, clear, understandable help materials about this feature would be welcome, too.

Finally, if you have a good alternative to these pieces of cr*p I've be interested in knowing about that, too.

Thanks,

cblurton
