HP Officejet add problems to Mac OSx

I have an issue with a HP Officejet 4315 all-in-one printer install. The printer shows up as a HP AIO fax port, but not usb. The printer does show up as usb connected, but when I try to add it using Printer utility, it errors out with the follwing message:

"successful-ok-conflicting-attributes"

I search for similar errors on HP's site, followed there procedures to clear out any possible problems with conflicting programs when starting my Mac or during logging in, but still the same erros persists. My concern is how to have the USB show up as a usb port instead of an HP-AIO-fax port. I also installed the same printer on my new Mac running 10.4 with no issues at all.

Please assist if anyone knows of another solution to this problem.

Thanks

Shaun
