How to install fonts running mac os 10.3.9?

My client sent me a font folder containing some folders: Benguiat Bold; ITC Benguiat PS-this PS folder contains a Family folder and a Single Folder. I've tried using Font Book to install them and even dragged them into the Library folder of fonts but can't get them to show up. Is it possible my client sent me Benguiat that is only compatible with PC? Or does Benguiat cross platform with Mac and PC?

To prevent any on-slaught of questions of the legality of your possession of such fonts - try this.

01. Download this free Beguiat Bold BT font, from 'Web Page Publicity's 'Free Fonts' section.
03. Drag the '.ttf' file onto your '~/Library/Fonts/' folder.
04. Quit any application currently launched, if you want to use the font in it.
05. Launch the application you want to use the font in.
06. Enjoy.

Thank you. While this was somewhat useful, the PS folder installed postscript fonts into PC but not Mac. The download only had True Type fonts. Guess I'll be working on my client's files on the PC.

While '.. working on ... client's files on the PC.' is a possibility and choice you can make - enlighten us, as to the contents of the 'Family' and the 'Single' folders.

Also, do you the the creator(s) of the font? [Such as Adobe, or a third party font publisher] This may be helpful to those willing / able to assist further.

In the ITC Benguiat PS folder, there is a folder named
"Family". Within that folder are four files: BGW-----.AFM; BGW-----.INF; BGW-----PFB; BGW----.PFM.
There is also a folder named "Single", I find the same files.
Another folder (it is not nested within the ITC Benguiat PS folder) is Benguiat Bold and contains these files: bgb_____.afm; bgb_____.inf; and bgb_____.pfb

I don't know the creator of the fonts.
