iChat Video Chat on AIM Not Working

iChat Video Chat on AIM Not Working

I roll on a MacBook using the internal webcam and mic with the newest version of iChat while my friend is on the newest iMac with the same set up. We're doing this with AIM accounts since we don't have .Mac accounts. The chat fails every time and it makes us ever so sad. Oddly enough we both have had video chats over AIM with other people on iChat, so we can't figure out in the foggiest why it won't work between us. Any suggestions? Any other details you might need to know to help us?
