| Hi I'm using OS X 10.4.8 and Dreamweaver MX (including update to 6.1) - software migration-copied from my retired G4 PowerBook. No problems on the G4 but on my Intel-powered MacBook Pro, DW runs ok until I try to connect to a server. If I edit a site and click Test Connection, DW states "connected to your web server successfully" but crashes when I try to connect fully. I've had no luck googling for a solution nor on the Adobe site - University of Utah report a similar problem since the OS X 10.4.7 upgrade. They suggest using Terminal on problematic MX progs entering "sudo killall translated" to remove the awkward stage in Rosetta - however it doesn't work for DW. Sorry to be of little help - can't believe we are the only two people who have discovered this! |
