what is the "getbuild" file?

I noticed this file called getbuild on my harddrive today. I Google'ed it and strangely enough found a link to someone asking about it. This person's file was created the same day as mine also. lol

Was this put there from a Mac update?

thanks
Jim

"getbuild" has appeared on my HD as well. Mine appears to be related to installing "Ventrilo" application. Perhaps yours is similar. Open the file using BBedit or a text editor and see what's there.
