Don't want calendar script to sync

I created an Automator action on my desktop machine (running Tiger) which goes to a web page every day and sends the page to my printer. (It's a crossword puzzle.. I know, great use of resources.) I created the Automator action and then saved it as an iCal plugin which gets triggered by an alarm. All works very smoothly.

The only problem is that because I have .Mac, and sync iCal as part of that, the alarm gets put on my laptop. I get an error every day on my laptop because the same "alarm" goes off as on my desktop -- an attempt to run the script. It actually errors because the Automator script doesn't exist on my laptop.

I'd actually like to find a way to not sync that event at all so it doesn't even go on my laptop, but iCal seems to be an all-or-nothing when it come to iSync and .Mac.

Any suggestions?
