Unhappy Bad iLife '06 Install Disks????

Hi,
Yesterday I purchased iLife '06 to run on my Dual 1.25 MDD PowerMac and I have since had to try 3 DIFFERENT iLife install disks none of which have even mounted or appeared to be recognized by Tiger.. I tried the disks in two different drives, one being the internal Combo drive and the other being a brand new HP dual layer DVD-R burner. Neither will read the disk.
Has anyone had this problem??? I've resigned myself now to taking the disk back to the Apple store and having them copy the install image to an external drive which is a HUGE pain not to mention the other three times I have driven to the store already...
I am up to date on version 10.4.8 and I don't have any clue what to do.. please help..

DeltaMac will become famous soon enough
Is the iLife the only disk that won't work in your computer?

Have you tried different types of disks in your computer to check if other disks work? Be sure to try other DVD data disks, such as the OS X 10.4 installer DVD, if you have access to that.

Have you tried a DVD movie disk?

Consider these thing to solve your problem.

Does your Mac read CD or DVD's?
Is it an iLife DVD or CD?
What was lthe last disc you worked with?
Did any problems occur then?
