Parallels Unable to open virtual bridge

Installed the parallels software, I followed step by step instruction i did the upgrade and everything the book told me to do but when am about to install windows and i press the power on virtual machine button it gives me this
Message "Unable to open virtual bridge. Is it installed and started?"

Can some one help me out please?
