iChat: Account Not Signing In

For some odd reason, iChat AV is NOT signing in under my .Mac/AIM screen name anymore. I didn't change any settings, and I don't get any error messages when it refuses to connect. It has worked fine for years, and I can't think of anything I installed that could have possibly affected this. I know it's a problem specifically with iChat, because I've used Adium to login to the same account. What suggestions do you have for troubleshooting? Thanks.

Quit iChat, then go to
~ (your home folder) / Library / Preferences
and in that folder remove the file called com.apple.ichat.plist.
Then relaunch iChat - it will ask you to enter the account information again - most likely it will work when the details are entered again.
