| QuickTime Player will also play them (with much better performance than Safari, but that really only matters for very large/fast animations). |

| Xee is a fantastic free viewer for many image types. I've set it as my default for all my GIFs, PNGs and JPEGs because it starts quickly and allows you to both play an animation, or step through the frames at will.

| Also, (shareware) GraphicConverter. It can be used to create, edit, and / or view animated GIF files. Last edited by barhar; December 5th, 2006 at 01:42 PM. |
