iCal quits as soon as I try to launch it

Hi

I seem to have a problem with iCal and wondered if anyone else here had experienced the same thing or has been able to rectify it?

I have the MacBook running 10.4.8,

When i try to launch iCal it quits immediately. I am not totally sure when this started to happen I have been using ICal since I bought my new MacBook but really cant think of anything I have done for this to happen.

Anybody heard of any other users experiencing this problem?

Regards
Chris

Here's one thing:

The other thing I would try is create a new account. A new account has a clean database and prefs, so we have a clean slate to test from.
