| Large Library I've got a HUGE library on my G4 under Hard Drive. It's 12.4 GB. Should a library be this large? Is there any of it I can delete because my disk space is getting full. |

| Most of it is in "Application Support". Sounds for Garage Band etc. take up space. Look what's inside Application Support in order to find out what's the culprit... Then decide whether you need that or not.

| 'Should a library be this large?' - the size of ones' '/Library/' and '~/Library/' folders (and thus their respective sub-folders) is dependent on the specific user's installed applications. 'Is there any of it I can delete because my disk space is getting full.' - do not delete either the '/Library/' and '~/Library/' folders, nor any sub-folder of either; unless, you are fully aware of the consequences. Some applications may require reinstallation, others may simply not function correctly, etc. |
