| Parallels and External Devices? in Parallels, I cant seem to get my external usb key's/usb hard drives to work. They just simply dont appear in windows. Even when I eject them from the mac, they dont show up, I have it setup properly I assume. It actually says: The USB Device you are trying to use is in use by another process, please wait 5 - 10 seconds and try again. when i do that, same thing happens. Anyone else had problems like this? | Not having that problem. But I do know that if your tools are not up to date it will wreck havoc with alot of stuff, this may be your problem. If you do have tools, try reloading them. |

| I have the exact same problem as you do. It happened all of a sudden, Everything was working fine, then Bam, no more USB Drives. USB pronter is fine. It is like the MAC won't release the USB Drives to parallels. like there is not permission to get to the USB Drive. It Sees the Drive but says anothe application has it. It could be a Mac problem, however Mac lets ME write to these Drives but not parallels. Did the Parallels up grade help or kill a bunch of other stuff. i have learned that upgrading sometimes makes for even more issues. Any one out there can help? Bruce |
