| Hi all, I scoured almost all the threads I found on this topic, but still can't seem to fix this issue. I'm a relatively new user to osx (having switched from windows). i havent enabled the firewall and I have opened the following ports using port forwarding on my router: 5060, 5190, 5220, 5222, 5223, 5298, 5353, 5678, 16384 through 16403. i want to get audio chat working on my Gtalk account on iChat and this is the configuration I'm using: server: talk.google.com port: 5223 ssl: checked can anyone tell me what else I should do to get audio chat working on my Gtalk account? Please help me! ![]() |

| Did you open System Utilities->Sound->Input and select the microphone you want to use? Once you do this test it locally to see if it works.
