| Web Development I'm a new Mac user. I used Homesite, Dreamweaver and WS_FTP on the PC for Web Development tools. I prefer html code rather than wysiwyg software. What do you suggest for my Mac OS 10.4 system. |

| Dreamweaver, GoLive, NVU (NVU is free), Smultron and SubEthaEdit (and BBEdit) if you want just / mostly html. |

| For just code, BBEdit is hard to beat and considered the "gold standard". It is a bit expensive, but well worth it. The same company offers a stripped down (and free) version of a text editor called TextWrangler. It's usable for HTML. Other popular possibilities include skEdit, TextMate, SubEthaEdit and Taco HTML Edit.
