| Flash Player 9 won't install I am on an eMac with original OS x 10.4. I have never updated it because it takes too long on my dial-up modem. I downloaded Flash Player 9 but it won't install. It acts like it is stalled midway in the process. I went to Adobe's site and tried to find help. I downloaded the uninstall program, but it will not work when I try it. It won't start working. I have downloaded both and tried them several times. No success. I cannot find what else to do. Is it a problem because I have not updated 10.4? Is there a way to get updates other than downloading? I wouldn't bother about Flash Player but several sites I've tried to use lately say need an upgrade. |

| I remember there being issues with the original 10.4. If you can get access to a faster connection, download the 10.4.8 Combo Updater and burn it to a disc. I don't know if you can purchase the Combo Updater for a small fee or not from an Apple Store or another Apple seller. If you do have an Apple Store near you, best thing would be to visit them and let them know your situation. They might be able to provide you with the update on a disc for you.
