| I have heard that Apple is now format-neutral instead of supporting Blu-ray exclusively. Any truth to this? Also, if my iMac's built-in monitor's max vertical resolution is 1050 lines, will I be able to watch Blu-ray movies on it--once the hardware and software becomes available--given the fact that most Blu-ray movies are 1080p? If so, what will happen to the extra 30 scan lines? Will the movie be scaled down to 1050 or will I lose 15 lines off the top and bottom of the picture? Any info is appreciated!

| don't know on the 2nd question. you can download quite a lot of HD content from apple.com/quicktime, and quicktime scales HD to your monitor. it looks pretty nice, even on a 20".
