| Printing problem on iMac G5 Tiger help!! I do not know what to do short of reinstalling Tiger! I have a iMac G5 with Tiger, latest updates. Printing worked before for a year, then stopped working. I get an error when I try to print. Cannot print or print error. My printer is a HP 4+ on the lan, so I am using direct IP printing. I also tried to print to another shared printer on my Powerbook and that does not work. I did research and found an article on things to try, repair permissions, etc. Create Superuser account. When I use the su account I can print!! But all other profiles I get an error. What else can I try? If I have to reinstall is there a guide on how to backup my data so I don't lose everything. Mostly concerned with my iTunes library. Thanks for the help. |

| If you used the printer for a year, then shouldn't you check the printer ink?
