Flash 8 Professional crashing (Intel iMac)

Hi everybody. I seem to be unable to start Flash 8 Professional anymore. I had a corrupted filesystem a few days ago so I had to reinstall my system. Upon reinstalling Flash, it no longer worked.

It crashes during boot every time, while you can still see the splash screen (it says "copying first run files", but the first run files do seem to all get copied properly).

I suspect that this might be because I formatted my hard drive for case-sensitivity when I reinstalled my system. I installed it on a normal HFS+ partitioned external drive too, but it didn't work there, but that might still mean that it needs a startup disk formatted in normal HFS+.

If anyone is able to help me out, that would be great!
