Opening wvm files in Quicktime player

I've downloaded Windows Media & I have Dropstuff & Stuffit Expander but I still can't open wvm files my friends send me in emails. Sometimes I get the message "movie cannot be opened". I am fairly new at this, could someone walk me through it. Thanks
Rosie

Download the free component called flip4mac. In short, M$ has stopped support of WVM file support on the Mac. flip4mac will now allow you to use windows media formats through quicktime.
