| External DVD Writer Hi , I have an external (USB) DVD writer, I usually have it connected to my Mac mini running 10.4.9 and have no problems. However currently I have it connected to an Imac running 10.2.8. When I put a cd or dvd in the drive, nothing happens, it doesnt show up on the desktop, or in disk utilites. The driver disk that came with the drive only has Windows drivers on it. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I can get this driver to mount. |

| I guess you'd need 10.3.x on that iMac in order for the drive to work. Apple hasn't added newly supported devices to old systems. Roxio's Toast Titanium might support the drive even on older systems, but then you'd need to find a license of a version of Toast that runs on 10.2.8 - only to maybe find out it doesn't work either. Hmm...

| You might try PatchBurn: http://www.patchburn.de/download.html Be sure to get the version for your OS.
