Cries :( Help Me pleaseee

I have a external dvd burner/cd burner and when I try to burn a DMG file, and it says the drive is not supported! No! Don't tell me that! "Could not find any suitable drivers to burn discs" Is there any generic drivers I can use? Help Please!

Still no go on the burner

When I try to expand with Mac, I always fail using Mac os 10.2.8 by the way.

What model burner do you have? What application are you burning from?

LITE-ON IT MODEL: SHW-160P6SU (or 165P6SU)
I'm using Apples Disk utility..
